well, i knew... JUST KNEW there was SOMETHING off about these dolls that kept on bugging me, but i just couldn't quite finger it... until just a couple days ago. indeed, i found myself ending up as Dr. FRANKENSTEIN, completely dismantling the dolls' bodies, and finding that they were improperly assembled at the factory, little wonder they felt all askew to me! further, in the end, i found myself sacrificing my Akari Kamigishi (red-haired girl) to give both my HMX-12 Multi (green-hair) and Shaorin Shichiri (lavender hair) much, much better physical proportions, and double-jointed elbows, which Shaorin lacked, which allows her a much better range of feminine poses. these two look great together now, IMHO, and since the EBAY seller i got the two ToHeart dolls from still has stock available, i think i'll get myself another Akari Kamigishi, (red-hair) tweak her the same way, and call it a day and be satisfied. then again, i might just leave these two by themselves, they work so well now as a set, IMO... (( Akari Kamigishi (ToHeart) ))

They do look good for dolls. I'm more of a straight single pose statue like figure individual though. I will say this though, when it comes to the Japanese approach to action figures, they are miles above the approach to America's concept. The idea of "ball joint" style appendages really give some serious flexibility for positioning options even if it does make the figures look just a tad strange.

Real Action Heroes... their NEWER line-up features hop-up faces, but they still have VERY crappy 1/6 body (Floral wiring dip in plastic)

I don't need to get into action figures. My school theme shelf is now packed and can't hold any more figures...I'd like to collect more of the Yamato Girls but don't have a place to put up a shelf for them. I keep getting Sonico figures ( she's my true weak spot ) with no real additional space to put her. Then there is Queen's Blade. Plus the occasional To Heart's and miscellaneous figures as well...Curse you all for showing me AmiAmi! ( joking of course )

I never got into the bigger sized action figure line myself. Lack of space, and to be honest not much I'm that interested in, compared to Figma for example.
