Hey all, been a couple of weeks or so since I've been on. I've had nothing new to share though. I do have 4 pre-orders on the way ( the first of which I have to pick up after work today...I don't know which figure(s) order it is either off the top of my head ). That said, I've been noticing AmiAmi's pre-order side doing something strange the past week and a half or so. Has anyone else noticed them cycling figures onto the order board that one can't order because they are out right listed as sold out or when you click onto the figure's page to look at it directly, it then comes up as sold out even if it shows there is a pre-owned one available on that page? There simply isn't the add to cart option, where that is is the big white box saying sold out. It's been rather frustrating because several figures have been sure buys for me. Some good low price buys too. Anyhow, the ones I have coming are the following; One order: Excellent Model CORE;- Queen's Blade Rebellion P-5 Sigui the Inquisitor 1/8 Excellent Model CORE;- Queen's Blade EX Bandit of the Wilderness Risty 1/8 Excellent Model CORE;- Queen's Blade Grimoire P-1 User of Darkness in Wonderland Arisia 1/8 Queen's Blade Veteran Mercenary Echidna 1/4.5 Black Version Polyresin Complete Figure ( still processing at this point ) Excellent Model CORE;- Queen's Blade P-11 Assassin of the Fang Irma 1/8

hobbycentric,
there some stuff on amiami.. i can't even get order, either Order Close FAST or it's goes hiatus
their "Pre-Order" stuff, my personal experience.. everything always gets push-back 1 to 3 months and never release on time. This cause a major fluctuation in my invoices. My January 2015 invoice was well over $2000.00
I'm just happy that their "Order Re-combing" isn't like Hobbysearch. I still wish they give us the option to "cancel orders"

Pre-order? Dang it..I did say pre-order initially didn't I? I meant pre-owned. I can be such an idiot at times. Anyhow, I'm a little bit annoyed right now. One of the packages came and a pick up slip was left at the door since as usual I wasn't at home. I went to pick it up and they couldn't find it. First time that has ever happened. I told the guy behind the counter "Well, obviously it made it to my door...so it has to be somewhere..." He chuckled and said, "Yep, it sure does because we wouldn't leave one of those tags if it didn't".
He grabbed a form, took down my phone number and some other info, I gave permission to simply drop it off on my doorstep by filling out the original tag and signing it. Hopefully they will locate it and do so in the next day or two.

my 2 cents: It's a First-come, first-served...If it's not In-Stock, no big deal.. beside Super Sonico you have SOOO much choices at least.. it's not one of those website.. that claim they have "In-Stock", but in reality they don't.. forcing you to wait 3 - 6 months oh.. THAT IS A VERY NICE FIGURE!!!

I chose to use Sonico as an example of what is going on here, well because she is one of my favorite subjects. I've also ran across this issue with Bible Black figures and some of the Queen's Blade figures ( which I'm currently trying to flesh out my Queen's Blade collection ) but seen it as I've looked at totally different figure lines too.
Normally, when a figure is sold off the pre-owned listings, it simply drops off unless they have more than one available. AmiAmi seems to be putting them straight onto the listings page in this situation though. It's almost as if they are loading up the pages to make it look like they have a larger selection than they currently do. The other day after the weekend they jumped up from around 600 or so listings to over a 1000. For me, that's a time for scanning through to see if there are any must haves. It was one of those days where quite a few I was interested in gave me this frustrating scenario.
Oh well, I can't do anything about it but it does seem like a poor site maintenance or operation status that only recently started happening. That said I did get the first order that the post office misplaced. It was the one containing both the 1/8 Sigui and Risty figures.

figure, as long as they didn't charge you for something that they don't have.. that good, right.. don't stress out.. you can always put it on a "WATCH LIST" and sleep on it ^__^
