I'm definitely not a fan of the show. couldn't make it pass the first episode. >< Nutz, I can understand that assesment and I too was skeptical. That said, I decided to roll with it. The Japanese didn't let me down in the end. The show ends up with a pretty decent and quirky story basis and the characters end up fleshing out quite well. I will admit even that some of the things that take place, certain relationships between the characters caught me off guard. The actual situations behind what the outfit is that she wears and how the academy pertains to it ( and others ) in the end is truly a typical Japanese odd story arc. In the end I decided to order it on Blu-ray from Aniplex's official U.S. website ( while I was there, I found quite a few others like Samurai Seven, Dead Man Wonderland,...many many others that were must haves in Blu-ray ). Unfortunantely I am having to wait though for volume 5 of Kill la Kill since it doesn't release until late April.
