Bought Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness for PSP today! ^_^
Been playing for a while now, all in Japanese! ^_______________^ I like it so much better in the natural language - they really sound so more into the respective roles! ^_~

That has always been an issue with english VA with Japanese games, the Disgaea series is soooooo perfect for PSP! Remember the insane hours I was grinding for Asagi in Disgaea 2!

Yeah, I remember!  But it's a cool game on the PSP! I suspect it would have been good on the DS too, but it got put on the PSP instead. Ah well, it's a great game. And the Rogue - his voice in Japanese is all childish rather than "you da man!" stuff - really different! ;D |

Didn't like the DS version, felt slow and sloppy in controls without the little analog nub the PSP has~
I gotta fire it up and my PS2 and swap voices to ENG, I think nearly all my games that have the option, I go with Japanese by default.....unless it really really sounds bad.
One of the worst dub jobs that I've heard is from Forbidden Siren on PS2! The characters are all obviously Japanese or Asian, why do they all have English accents???

Yeah, they did that with Fatal Frame too, even though everyone in those games is Japanese.... ;_;

Just bought myself Phantasy Star: Ambition of the Illuminus today! Used for $15, but I wanted to check it out. ^^ I let you know what I think later.

Sweet. I played the demo for dissidia and thought it was pretty good, just haven't picked it up yet myself. I got Transformers: War for Cybertron last week and I'm loving it. I may finnally have time to dig into Silver Star Harmony now as well. I pre-ordeded it but work has left me with little to no spare time until now -_-
Oh, and BTW, Hi to everyone that might remember me XD

Played a bit of Phantasy Star AotI, but was bored really quick with the amount of text-only crap I had to deal with. Went back to Disgaea 1 PSP instead.
And I have to update the stupid PSP to play Dissidia - may not bother, as I want to not lock out my Action Replay....

It may not be that bad - the Action Replay does have Dissidia on it's list, so it's probably up to date with that update....maybe.
