Wow, AFB. That's some nice swag you got yourself. You've made me quite jealous now.  That box looks huge, btw. And that's cool how Macross is getting the movie and a video game released all on one disc. Wish we'd get something like that over here. |

@david - Truthfully, most of the games I have on my 360 are multi-platform titles (SSFIV, Transformer WFC, Bayonetta, etc.) since I got the xbox before I got my PS3. However, I've noticed that the xbox lately has been getting more of the odd, out of Japan niche games which makes me a very happy 360 owner ^^
@lee - Pictures don't do the faceplate justice. It's very well finished and gives the xbox a pretty, glossy finish. I took great care not to hurt the outer box. The box is actually more long than it is big.
@syn - I'll let you know how it plays this weekend when I get the chance to sit down with it. Have some pressing concerns to deal with all the rest of the week at work before that -_-
That Macross game sounds like it could be extremely fun. You'll have to let me know what it's like if you get it
@lauren - It is some of the best swag I've seen come from a US release. In fact, I learned that this faceplate was exclusive to the US release of Deathsmiles. For some reason, that makes me even more happy ^^ BTW, the box is huge in length, and about the height of a normal xbox case, but a very pretty box non the less. ^^

Yes I love how Japan treats anything "limited" because it's always sooooooo satisfying when you get it! Just like Steel Battalion for Xbox, I can't believe North America actually got such a useless peripheral!!! But it's soooooooooooo worth it for any mecha fan!!!
No prob AFB, It's still a good while but I'm sure seeing the Movie "Beyond High Definition"(as it says on the GITS BD box) then playing the game will be pretty cool...By then I would have probably downloaded the fansubbed movie and watched it...I wonder what's going on with Harmony Gold and Big West at the moment....?

@ Lee - Probably not. I'd be too embarrassed to wear it outside. Maybe I'll wear it when I game. Like a good luck charm. lol
@ David - I started playing it last night. I'm playing through the female MC's path first. And so far, I kind of like it better than FES - probably because the S.Links are geared more towards females. ^_^; It's really fun so far. There's good voice acting, but the anime cutscenes have been watered down. Now all we get is a grainy screenshot instead of a nice animated FMV.

Man I remember when P3 first came out and special edition was win because it came with a pair of Audio Technicas....unfortunately I soon found out that they were Japanese counterparts of my Audio Technica branded P3/Atlus like the main character's headphones. I gotta say, they're cool with really rich mids and highs but because they're just clip on speakers, they leaked a lot of sound;  The hat looks great, though it is hard for me to recognize since all I remember from Junpei's hat is that it's blue with a white symbol, I don't think I would be able to point one out~ I now have to replay the original P3 before going on the to FES story because I was mid game on my PS2. I really want to plat the extra story because of Aegis and Metis though! |

I actually didn't think much of that extra story on FES, its cool that its there but the story itself I didn't think improved all that much from the original point and there are things you can't do in extra story so the game play was limited as well. grinding had no point whatsoever..
