@ Lee: It's fine, as long as we don't get them mixed up when we buy them. The "Other Goods" thread is good for the regular visual/guide books. And the Goto-P cover was an original for the artbook. Many of his stuff was made similar to other works of his, so maybe you've seen it again somewhere else, but the artbook mentions that it was for the book - it even shows him drawing it! Yeah, this artist doesn't hide his face! ^^ The Kawarajima Koh book shows the artists' faces (there are two artists under the pseudonym of Kawarajima Koh)....and more good stuff will be on the way after I pay for the huge figure blowout this month! ;D
@ Gabe: The Range Murata one IS awesome! I will take more later of it. ^^;
And the dakimakura cover is Louise from Zero no Tsukaima. I bought it long ago and wrote it up in the "Other Goods" section, but that was over a year ago....

So when did you all start collecting these? I have a few myself. My favorite art book being The Beautiful World by Kuroboshi Kohaku.

I personally liked and hated Kino's Journey. Kino's good, but the end cuts short and it's sad to boot. Wanted more from it, just like Someday's Dreamers (which was bought at the same time)... Last Exile was stupendous, which was the best buy of the four packs of series I bought that time (the last was Abenobashi Arcade).

Haha, wow! What an awesome art book haul you pulled in, David. (Sadly, I'm so out of the loop - I've never heard of any of these artists!) Still, I can't wait to see the pictures you take of these books.

You've both watched Evangelion and haven't heard of Sadamoto Yoshiyuki? He's the character designer and part of the Gainax team! Azuma Kiyohiko drew both Azumanga Daioh and Yotsubato! You already forgot him? T_T Anyway, I'll be taking the photo sometime soon...
