Released on dvd in N.A. in December of 2006 through mid 2007. Collections re-released in 08, 09, and 13. It's pretty amazing how this show has had such staying power in terms of popularity. Only thing similar is Evangelion, and that was released a decade earlier. I'm really surprised that Sentai re-released it this year. |

you hated the ending of eva? too much psycho mumbo jumbo for ya? ;D
What I'm really annoyed about w/ Sentai is that they released the blu ray version of F/SN in TWO VOLUMES. And each cost more than the dvd set. ><

Yeah I didn't like eva that much either...even though I got the 1/2.5 scale set of rei and asuka statues lol its a myth to me how people can love it so much? the biblical references wasn't very interesting to me either.
Fate/stay night was different though remaining one of my top favor anime since I first watched it in 2007. Although Fate/zero the prequel is even better, that IS my favor anime of all time.

How can ppl love Eva? Let's see. . . unique characters, breakthrough mecha concept (self limitations), good pacing, suspenseful plot (at least til the end). It's a very unique show.

All true, but I guess its just not unique in the direction I like. Guessing that's why I can't appreciate it the way many others do.

That's fine. Eva has a lot of haters. I totally understand. Gainax tends to be like that w/ its shows. Brilliant in some ways, tragically flawed in other ways. LOL No worries. ^^

No pictures, as it's too hot here to go outside and take them, and it doesn't matter anyway - I may add them later if I decide to take them. BUT, I got these in the mail yesterday: Bakemonogatari PREMIUM BOX (with Nendoroid, badges and mini posters of Senjogahara Hitagi) Persona 3 FES Aigis School Uniform figure by QuesQ And another figure (NSFW, so not mentioned here). I enjoyed the figure of Aigis, and she's also sitting on my desk, along with the other ten figures I have there. More to come when they get to me! EDIT: I forgot that I also got a Lightning Returns Final Fantasy XIII PS3 controller too! -_-; |

I got these both last week (Akane) and today (Kuroneko) from AmiAmi!  The one on the left is Akane Isshiki by GSC (out of focus, I know, but I'm not gonna bother re-doing the photo). On the right is Kuroneko -Sweet Lolita- by Kotobukiya *squee* I really like these two, but especially love Kuroneko, as she is the first I've bought of this character, and what a great way to start! ^_^ I naturally haven't had Akane before, but Kuroneko hasn't had many good figures that depicted her correctly, so this was the first (other than the sold out first Kotobukiya one) that was so much like her character! I had to have her! <3 More to come next year! Bye bee! ;D |
