That's a fantastic looking figure Finalgear. I really need to look into the High School DxD series....... I finally received one of the pre-orders I've been waiting on. It was only held up about a week and a half and it actually arrived last week. I've been pretty busy though with other things. OrcaToys 1/6 Sigui in Queen's Blade Rebellion "Cool and Beauty Daughter Collection"    I have a like for Sigui. There is something about the character that "speaks" to me even though she doesn't really play a huge part in the Rebellion story arc. If they make a second "season" eventually to Rebellion, I hope they expand upon her character. I know they are making a new spin off called Queen's Blade; Grimore. I guess a modification on some of the fantasy stories of childhood. |

That's one big group of boxes. Taking over the bathroom and another room it looks like there Finalgear.... That said, my latest order of pre-owned figures have arrived, over the course of about 5 days. Here we go.... All the 1/8th scale first. Alicia;  Irma;  Risty;  Sigui  Last but not least, Echidna in 1/4.5 scale.   Queen's Blade has far too many characters...... |

Branwen is another figure from the Queen's Blade series (which is another nice figure to get)

Branwen is another figure from the Queen's Blade series (which is another nice figure to get) I bought the 1/8 scale Branwen sometime back. Have some pics posted somewhere back in this thread I believe. Good figure. My only complaint being I couldn't get her "armor" to refasten properly after gently working the protective plastic out from between it and her body. I almost got it out of there with out the little clasps separating but then a couple of them came undone. That soft plastic is just very hard to work with on such a small scale to get those things to rehook correctly. Never could quite get two of them to do so. If I ever see the 1/4.5 scale of her come up in the pre-owned, I might buy it. |

The latest group of figures that arrived over about three days. Some are for the continuing quest to round out my Queen's Blade collection. A few others were simply eye catchers I have seen before and liked. Excellent Model Core 1/8 Fighting Master Alleyne;  Excellent Model Core 1/8 Forrest Keeper Nowa;  Excellent Model Core 1/8 Kouma Ninja Shizuka;  Then the twp pieces that simply caught my eye some time back and I've been waiting for them to pop back up; Excellent Model Core 1/8 Spirit of Wonder;  Hobby Japan 1/8 Miu Ousawa  I also discovered that Aniplex has a U.S. website and just received a package from them but since it wan't figures that I got and rather the first four volumes of a five volume Blu-ray set ( the number 5 doesn't release until April ) I figured showing a pic wouldn't fit in this thread. It was nice to discover the site though since you know the DVDs and Blu-rays won't be bootleg and they will definently be region 1. I still love a good DVD / Blu-ray collection. Call me old school I guess. |

I saw the Spirit of Wonder some time back when I was just randomly "cruising" through AmiAmi after you guys told me about the site. It's how I also came across the Holon Real Drive figure as well. I decided to keep my eye open for them if either ever happened to pop up. The Holon figure came up about a 1 1/2 months later and so I snagged her. I was surprised about the Spirit of Wonder figure though to be honest. I, for some reason, didn't expect to see one anytime soon. There it was though last week or so. I personally preferred the red one and luck just happened to be on my side there. As to the 1 / 2.5 statues. They actually stand about 28 inches even while on their display bases ( that's both of my Sigui figures and both of my Please Teacher! figures ). The boxes are quite big to account for the ample packing foam which these things need for protection...thankfully A+ does so. All four of them are gorgeous in person. If I could recommend to A+ some additional choices..I'd have to say they need to make a figure of Echidna and Irma as well from Queen's Blade in that scale. Well...I could also think of some others not only from Queen's Blade but from other series as well. |
