Well..I'm simply waiting for my two pre-orders to come into the released mode now. No other ordering for the time being. Couple of real world things going on. The biggest being that my local, home town bank was bought out by a national chain. I didn't know this until a new debit card arrived Saturday. They claim they sent out a notification package last month but I never received it sooooo I have to call the bank and find out if the routing numbers and account numbers and all that jazz will no longer be good after the change over, let alone getting new checks. If everything is no longer good, then I have to get my direct deposit rerouted as well. Might as well switch over to another local bank if all that ends up being the case. It's all to be completed by Feb 9th, so I have some time to work with....grrrrr.  |

One of my pre-orders has now been moved out until sometime later in Feb. So that helps a bit. The 1/5 scale Sasara Bunny will be big but I wouldn't say BIG. The two others in that series and scale sit under a dome that is 9 3/4 inches wide by 10 inches tall. They list Sasara as about 230mm. That is just about 9 inches dead on. So she just might, might, fit in the dome with the other two. It depends on how her pose can be intermingled with them if it's even possible. If it can be done they would look like they are playing the old floor game Twister inside it.

I've tried looking for links to pics from the 2015 Tokyo Wonder Festival ( winter ). I found the "homepage" from when it was going on but there was no translation option and I couldn't navigate it. I haven't found pics yet but I'm sure some will show up....I still haven't seen the Sonico figure from Wing that they displayed at last summer's show. Then again, I've discovered that some of these figures are one off items and will not go into production. Maybe that figure of her was just that...unfortunately.

I got to do some looking at the product. I won't lie though, I really dislike her "presentation" in the form of her reviews. When I read a product review be it a car, a model, a T.V., whatever...I don't want to read things such as "I am sooo done with these two!" or "can we stop making these!" or similar. I like a straight up, non opinionated, informational review. Hows the product look? Clean molding? Crisp details? Those that are painted and on display...are the colors applied well and with good blending, not the opinion on color choice. Hearing a rant on what the subject is and the fact that it is, according to the blogger, unneeded, essentially stupid, a waste, size of body parts and how ridiculous they are ( she is female reviewer and has issues with some female sculpts and definent issues with some male sculptors for doing them ( by name ) they way they do...going so far as to say they are aimed at pedophiles ). Really? That's uneccessary in my opinion.
They are in the world of marketing and aiming for the various groups they need to sell to using the product as it's designed to be. Want to rate them?. That's fine and expected. Want to rant about them? That's what we the paying public are expected to do with all the data we collect and decide with on whether to make purchase or not. Ultimately...it's the look of the figure and the subject of it that get's our attention and helps make our decision on whether it get's our dollars.
That all said ( yet thinking more )I shall now put my soap box away. Still though, thank you much for the link. There are some nice looking future products regardless.
