How are you liking Deathsmiles, Syn? Didn't play the original version yet but the Xbox 360 version seems to be very misleading with being hit(because of the graphic upgrades), it seems like there were A LOT of times where I phased through the pellets...First try and had to use 3 continues, used Rosa and chose her the real world ending. I love how this gem got a limited edition that was so affordable, this is possibly one reason that I like the 360(PS3 gets not face plate...but I don't know enough 360 games that include them). If my 360 weren't modified, I would keep Gold membership but I know I'm not sharp enough to keep up to date so it's inevitable for banning...Unless someone is will to trade me locally. If anyone is one Live, hit me up, "SynThirtein"

I noticed a lot of phasing through pellets as well on the 360 version, chalked it up to the updated graphics as well. The mode is good for people just wanting to play through the game with all the characters though. I haven't played the original yet either, but I'm expecting a massacre on that mode XD
The 360 always seems to get the better (and more affordable) Limited Editions when it come to these obscure japanese game releases. Which is fine for me because that Face Plate is one of the best pieces of LE swag I've seen in a while. ^_^

Well, aside from the 2 consecutive nights of 5 hour chats with another member of another forum(XBL and otaku-related topics), I've found out that DEATHSMILES is actually really deep!! 1. The heart shaped thing in the center of your character is the hit box, it explains the "phasing" issue lol. 2. Familiars(the animal things), can be controlled and have more special uses(absorbs blue and yellow "suicide" bullets). 3. Each lolis have a special ability with a + b which locks into a specific area. 4. Reach 1000 crowns and A + B activates a timed power up attack 5. The white loli has a secret against Sakura(witch), last five minutes without attacking her will give you something. 6. No continues will give you another form of the final boss. These are all stuff I would have never looked up but since I was talking to a 360 enthusiast, learning the benefits of owning a 360 lol~ Anoa Aoba invades US with Gradius Otomedius Excellent this Winter!Hope there's a limited edition to this as well~

Oh man, it gets really crazy and wacky when played on level 3 for all stages!
Sweet, one thing I love about the 360 is the dashboard! Really works well but I'm afraid that I will have to maintain my DVD drive's firmware because I am planning to take on the $1 per month GOLD deal. If my 360 does ever get banned, I will sell it for a cheaper price to get another older 360 because I love the DeathSmiles faceplate soooo much! I really hope that Otomedius has a faceplate/limited edition but that brings up whether or not the Slim has the same feature...if not then we'll probably won't see a faceplate package...

Ah that's the series I was thinking about, my bad, Gradius is the more serious shooter while Parodius was more of the cartoony type which applies to the characters in it, should have picked up that 2,000 Yen MMS Anoa Aoba figure with the Vic Viper on Mandarake... Well as I mentioned, unfortunately I believe the older versions of Xbox 360s won't be receiving any faceplate attention anymore since the Slim is the main console on sale now and I believe our older editions are deemed discontinued. Unless Otomedius gets a $40 price tag, I would pre-order this edition if it ever makes it over stateside under $100Though I dunno what the digital piece on the right side does... Added:Well just found out that Otomedius Excellent comes out on November the 2nd, I want to pre-order it but I'm hoping there's a limited edition somewhere along the way. Castlevania fans get will love the Belmont inspired character but hate that she's a DLC. I haven't had my 360 for a while but I learned that anything that isn't an update or demo then it's a pay DLC... Got my XBL avatar the way I like it, Storm Trooper helmet + white suit + ghetto blaster = WIN!

I know I'd buy the DLC character since Castlevania is my favorite videogame series. -_-
Stupid Microsoft! Why must we always pay for everything!

Even the one released on Wii where it was a fighter and the characters were designed by the Death Note artist?

Definitely not the best Castlevania game to come around, but as it was a Castlevania, I had to support it. The character designs were...different, that's for sure.

Got my XBL avatar the way I like it, Storm Trooper helmet + white suit + ghetto blaster = WIN! Better hope those stay when the next update hits next month because the new update is gonna make the avatars look realistic for kinect.
