Oh, so that's what the figure-like thing was! I don't bother reading comments it seems! Do you like the game?

Yup, I love it even more playing through campaign mode since you get more of a understanding of each member. The game does what the Halo(1, 2 and 3) didn't do, give the player more perspective of regular soldiers(ODST) and Spartans. In Halo, you're THE Spartan which gives you the sense that you're the only factor in defeating the enemy forces which is true because Master Chief is pretty much the only survivor as a Spartan after the fall of Reach.

My god now I'm starting to want Reach. The only problem is I suck at playing FPS games with a controller. I'm too used to a keyboard/mouse combo, and I've never bothered playing any Halo games because of that

My god now I'm starting to want Reach. The only problem is I suck at playing FPS games with a controller. I'm too used to a keyboard/mouse combo, and I've never bothered playing any Halo games because of that I was the same too, a keyboard/mouse person, but Halo games really make aiming on the controller easy by adding the annoying aim assist, the floaty jump and an indication when to pull a trigger for a headshot by making the crosshair red when sniping.

Well the thing about the Halo FPS type is that it's slightly more friendly than Modern Warfare and Bad Company since they're more faster pace while Halo is still using a outdated engine which means that the gameplay feels slower and the fact that you have a life bar + shield bar makes it more fun for people who aren't accustomed to FPS. Sprinting is still an option in Halo(you can subsistence it with out power ups) and Reach does include online Co-op, co-op firefight and competitive online play. The cool thing is that you can play any modes to gain rank and credits to customize your own Spartan or Elite.
If I'm not playing Slayer(standard competitive mode), I'm playing Infection which is Shottys vs Swords(Zombies), Firefight helps you practice the game while you fight waves of enemies with different load outs.
For the people who read and love the Halo novels, it's suggested that they get the Limited Edition for Halsey's journal since the Fall of Reach novel and Halo: Reach are done in different perspectives: Novel: Master Chief, Cortana and Pillar of Autumn. Game: Nobel Team/Nobel Six Journal: Dr. Halsey
One thing I advise for those who are learning, please set your sensitivity high so you can watch your back, I've been "assassinating" a lot of people because they either don't look at their radars or aren't fast enough to turn around disabling I disagreeassination attempt.
smallwind is right, the keyboard/mouse combo is still great but the 360 controller is a great alternative to FPS since it is so much more comfortable to play FPS games on it rather than the PS3.

Looks like a exact replicate of the 360 controller but with a more reliable D-Pad and Sixaxis support. Should be superior than the Dual Shock 3 pads for FPS games but that's only if PS3's 3.50 firmware allows it to work.
Apparently to stop piracy from the latest Jail Break and increase of Sony bootleg peripherals, Sony has taken no risks in USB related items in locking out anything that isn't a licensed item. I haven't updated my PS3 to the recent firmware but I have to say that my beautiful Qanba 3 stick is at risk of being absolutely useless if I upgrade.

I'm clearly not a gamer - I really have no desire to do what you are doing, SYn! But it's nice to see you so engrossed in something! ^_^_^

Alright. After giving it much thought, I decided to give Halo:Reach a try. Being the nerd that I am, I had to buy the legendary edition for the awesome statue and other goodies. We'll see how well I can get used to this when it gets here from amazon.

No worries, if anything after campaign mode, play some infection type games, they're awesome!!! Defend yourself with shottys or or hunt the defenders down as zombie spartans with plasma blades~

If I like Reach well enough, then I'm gonna have to get my hands on the Halo's 1-3. Thank god 1 and 2 are on PC, as I don't feel like hunting down an old xbox for them.

I kinda wished that I had a 360 before finishing Halo 3 lol, would be cool if Bungie/Way Point added a feature which your rank is included within 3, ODST and Reach so no matter which game you're playing, you'll still be building EXP towards you main Reach character haha~
I wanna read Halsey's Journal but it looks so nice! Maybe if I read it carefully and slowly, I won't wreck it, I like how it's more in a pencil style print with some pages ripped out. Looks like even she knew things that she couldn't keep in her own journal.
