So, let's start a thread on what anime you just got, like the figure thread in that section. Let's get started with what I got in Sydney yesterday:  Yes, I finally got all these first DVDs after such a long time waiting! I am really enjoying Shakugan no Shana right now, but all these are only the first DVDs, so I really need to get on track to buying the rest! *____* So, everyone keep this thread as alive as the figure version by posting at least the names of what you buy in anime. Man, I really need to get a working camera. >< Latest anime I bought: - Noein vol. 4 - Noein vol. 5 A few years ago, a list like this would've probably been a lot longer for me. I find myself buying more manga these days than anime. Probably because it's cheaper. ^_^; @gkm: Good choice on Eureka seveN. I'm currently up to disc 5 and it just keeps getting better and better. Hope you enjoy it. |

Lauren's right on Eureka 7. It just keeps on getting better and better. ;D

Excellent stuff guys! Glad to see that people are still buying the stuff, rather than just downloading (I tried to download Shana the other day, but I had trouble re-encoding the rmvb into an mpeg). Anyway, great to see! I must say that's true about Eureka 7. The show's such an awesome one! I really love Eureka - she's just sooo cute! *hugs her* ^_^ Of course, I've yet to see the rest, so I have to get more and more and more!  What? Money?  The other's are all good too. Haruhi really lives up to the hype - even more so. Don't listen to 4chan's crap - the show is really good. Bleach is the hardest to get into, but Rukia is some cute girl, especially when she's ticked off. ^^ FSN (Fate/stay night) is very cool. I really finally got to see the darling Rin and Saber in animated form, instead of just figure style. Rin has to really be my fave character! Saber is as cute as I thought she'd be, but Rin just has that vibrancy I thought she'd have... Can't wait to get the rest of each! ^_^ |

animefanboy: How is the Anderson bust? I missed out on the Alucard figure that came with the first LE, and was wondering if the figure was worth extra cash? Oh, and right on! Another E7 fan. Awesomeness. ^_^b GKM: Yeah, I make it a point to always buy legit DVDs of shows I want. Of course, half of the shows I really want to own on DVD will most likely never be licensed. Mainly the old school shoujo/mahou shoujo shows. T_T But it looks like you're enjoying your recent DVD purchases. Glad to hear you're loving E7 so much. It's probably one of the best shows to come out on DVD within the past year or so. And here are my DVD purchases from yesterday: - Ultra Maniac vol. 5 - Ultra Maniac vol. 6 - Ultra Maniac vol. 7 That's one Geneon show down. I just don't know if I should finish Gankutsuou next or start on AIR. (I really, really like the artbox ADV is using for AIR. It's very pretty. ^^) |

Good selection there too. You seem to get quite a few DVDs - you must really love anime to get so many! ^_^ I just need to fix what figures I still have, and then I will get more anime DVDs! ^___^

Lauren - I have both the Anderson and Alucard busts and personally, I think that the Anderson bust is the better of the two. Alucard looks great mind you, but Anderson just seems to burst from the background with the action pose they put him in. He looks great with sword in left hand and the pages of his barrier spell coming out of the bible in his right hand. Definitely worth the extra money in my book.

I pre-ordered the LE version of Fate Stay Night vol. 6 from TRSI. And it was placed on backorder. Knowing that FSN is a Geneon release, and Geneon is not distributing dvds right now, my chance of getting TRSI to fulfill this order was going to be slim. After waiting a week, I happened to see the Halloween discount coupon at Robert's Anime Cornerstore, and decided to order FSN 6 LE from RAC. Lo and behold, TRSI emails me confirming that my pre-order has been shipped. Great. Another duplicate order. Grrrrr On the bright side, I'll now have two Saber alarm clocks. Don't know how they look. Hopefully, they'll look decent enough to be placed on my desk. |

You seem to get quite a few DVDs - you must really love anime to get so many! The scariest realization I have yet to face is what I'm going to do when I run out of DVD storage space. ^^; Animefanboy - Thank you! Thank you for uploading those pics. That bust is drop dead gorgeous. I'm definitely gonna go for it once I find a retailer that has the steelcase + figure. Antony - It's cool that you're getting two clocks. Like animefanboy said, if one of them is defective at least you'll have a spare. It looks like a really cute clock, too. ^^ |

hmmmmmm i was really curious about that Saber clock. Wanna order all 6 vols but i thinking if i should do it now and take the risk of don´t getting all of them or wait to see if Geneon will reissue it later. Problem is when is that "later" -__________-"
@kazoo if you like Fate/Stay Night you should take a look for Tsukihime too. It´s not so good like Fate but still interesting.
