Do I hear mentions of Ico and Shadow of the Colossus in here?
*sniff* *sniff*, I did!
Absolute fantastic games! I love them very deeply.

I have to say, I'm enjoying Ico a lot more than I thought I would. The game is extremely refreshing, to say the least. Unfortunately, I haven't had any time to play it for the past few days. Sadness.

Glad to hear it, Lauren. ICO is excellent, and it's good to see you're having withdrawal syptoms, as that means the game is doing its thing! And you too, Andy - P4 is definitely a great game, and try to get Naoto as your girl! *loves Naoto* ^____^

^ Is that the same trailer that was released recently? I can't remember if the footage is the same or not. Either way, this looks to be a fine game. It's the same video but with more up to date graphics fro E3. I guess my copy of Opera doesn't support that file? It's just a Youtube video of The Last Guardian trailer. Yesterday I finally finished Crisis Core.
For anyone who's played it through, does the end sort of make you think that a remake of FFVII is in store for the PSP? I mean, the whole world was remade through CC, so it is possible to make FFVII into a new game version without too much trouble... All they need to do is make the outside world traversible - not make an interconnecting world like FFXII, but a world like the original FFVII but in a newer fashion.
I for one would love to see it! ^_^

Agreed. A friend of mine owns it and it really feels like playing a remade FFVII so sounds a good idea to me too

Yep, certainly does! I would so buy an upgrade. As long as they don't change the materia system or the general gist of the story - they need to just take the environment from the CC and give them to the old concept of FFVII...

Does anyone here play MAME? Recently been re-downloading all the old arcade classics, and plan on playing them for a while later on. I especially want to try my hand aty the later Capcom greats (Marvel Vs and Xmen Vs SF), so I will enjoy it when I do! ^_^

I finally went out and bought a fight stick but I kinda cheap'd out and bought the Mad Catz Standard Edition stick. I need to swap out the parts later on, good thing about this stick oppose to the Hori Fight Stick 3 is that there is absolutely no soldering involved so its a simply pop in for parts. IMO I loved the first Marvel vs Capcom rather than the assist crazy MvC2 and SNK vs Capcom is a good one, haven't had the chance to learn/play 2.

@kazoo - MAME is the greatest. I use it for all the capcom vs. games, as well as all of my old favorite beat'em ups (x-men, tmnt, final fight, spiderman, D&D games, etc.) syn13 - I have to agree with you on that one, I loved playing MvC2 with a crowd, but I always thought that MvC was the tighter of the two games to just play (and JAZZ music in a fighter, come on Capcom )

Yeah, I have all of those too, AFB. I really enjoyed D&D when they first came out, so I got them again...

Beautiful! No matter how many times I see that picture of Noel(that's her right), never get tired of her! Awesome TE stick, I went the budget way and started modding my Fight Stick with a Sanwa stick, even though both sticks are square/4-way gates, the Mad Catz's gate or buttons to register the stick's movement was horrible. Response was pretty much cripple and crouching block did not register 80% of the time! Gotta swap out the buttons and the template(not factory nor was it mine) for something more of my preference.
Still playing SFIV but most of my play time is in training mode getting used to the stick again. The last game I've played long term in the arcade was mainly the Gundam VS series games, Guilty Gear X and Melty Blood:ReACT(I think that was the one).
Possibly getting Blazblue this weekend, unfortunately everyone is selling their Limited Edition for a whooping $120CDN, gonna check the independent game near my workplace before I buy a used one missing instruction manual but comes with the Game Stock pre-order artbook(not LE). EB Games is restocking KOFXII and normal release of Blazblue either today or next Thursday. Gonna wait until HMV Canada drops KOF to $24.99 just like what they did/doing to SFIV. I've heard that KOF isn't worth buying so skipping it for now.
