Gaming Thread *possible spoilers within*

Well, I noticed that the old Game Collection Photos thread I created way back when sometimes goes on about what we're playing and the aspects of the games we play (and own), so I thought that we should have our own seperate thread dealing with what games we like, what makes them the games we like and what games we don't like.

Of course, we could have kept going on about it in the other thread, but this way we can keep it very centered around the specific topic of gaming instead of what we recently bought.

NOTE: as I marked the thread, may we mark relevant sections that contain spoilers with the SPOILER tag before and after, so we don't have problems with people complaining about what they read.

Me First!!!

Well, lately I've been playing more than one game. I recently went back to playing Kagero: Deception 2 by Tecmo on the PSX, getting all endings so I can play the game with the Suezo trap - he's so cool! I get major trap points for using him as the enemy is in the air! ;D

I've then also been playing Final Fantasy VII with cheats, since I've beaten the game without cheats about ten times, so it's time to get simple and fun with the game. I just start out with Cloud already equipped with the Ultima Weapon and make the AP earned after each battle over 32,000 points. Other than that, I could have Aeris and Sephiroth in the game permanently too, but the game can glitch up a bit, even with the cheats I use (which allow the two to be customized and moved, even able to level up - but they take over other spots in the character line-up).

Then I also have been playing Final Fantasy X-2, trying to get the best score (100%), to get the true ending. Just taking a break because to get 100% we have to face Trema in Via Infinito, and he's the hardest guy in the game, so I take my time...

As you can see, the hardest one to talk about is the Wii - I've not played it for over three months now, and sort of wish I had never got it. I'm not really into the games as much as I had hoped, but I still hope for Project Zero (Fatal Frame) 4 to hurry and appear, so I can justify the purchase...

I like RPGs mostly, as you can tell, but if it's a good story or good gameplay, then I like others (hence Guadian Heroes being on the list - it's a beat 'em up). I just love the RPG to death - they're just fun and full of life - especially the New Game + type!

Is there anything I haven't said yet that didn't say I loved Persona 3 FES? Well, yes, I did, but I can say again that it's one of the best for the PS2. Of course as with any game there are bits I'd rather see than what they did, but that's the nature of all games, even the best in my list have their problems. Anyway, yes, get her to get it for you - you won't regret it, and it's not rude or anything, except for a few curse words....

Well, I went from playing Persona 3:FES to Suikoden V, as I wanted to begin again on SV to get everything and then try for a cleared game file. Never tried the cleared game file, so this is the main reason I tried it.

Isn't Suikoden a fighting game?

No problem.

Suikoden is an RPG/action/strategy game (at least SV is), in that it has war elements in it and you still run through dungeons and stuff fighting monsters.


I bought Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga 2 the other day, but still haven't begun playing it yet - I hope it's as good as Persona 3! ^_^

Well, I've been playing SMT:DDS2 for about a day now, and have got into the place to get Sera. Have a few problems with glitches, but it's a good game so far - it's really strange to see the personas of P3 as enemies in this game! *_*

Whoa, really? What ones were they? they might be in 4 too...
Also, there is a shadow that is a stripper in P4...
