Got soul hackers just now on ebay, was only $20 and free shipping. There seems to be more than a few shin megami tensei games out for 3DS currently. wonder if they are any good. And, does anyone else's 3DS screen have the cracking sound when they flip it open or adjust it? Everytime I open it I open it with the conviction of tearing the system apart. mine.. sound like a clicking sound... kinda like putting a gas cap back on your car. the Shin Megami series.. has caught my eyes.. but, I don't know the game play

Some boss fights can get difficult unless you have the right summons. The nice thing about this game is that after you beat it the first time, you can replay to get the "true" ending. lol I do get a snapping sound when I open the screen. No worries.

yeah, these days I don't play game without guide anymore, not like the younger days where I like to explore on my own in RPGs, and miss a bunch of stuff, sometimes even endings. guess I got more insecure as I got older lol

No, you just lack the time to goof around. Gotta maximize what you accomplish in game w/ your limited gaming time.

I've got many games I haven't yet beat, and many new ones.
I also now have to track down a copy of the first Walking Dead disc-based PS3 game so I can later spend time playing Season Two - I just love how they have us playing as Clementine! I really like their bold move to using the little girl as the protagonist, as opposed to the typical male adult. It's so refreshing that I have to try and track down the original in it's disc-based format as the size of the digital version is too large for me to easily download to my PS3...

It turns out the game "ends" on 6/01, year 6. And I got the "bad" ending b/c I didn't make any progress in finding mommy. T_T
I managed to max out my alchemy to level 50. I didn't realize the game is very JRPGish, w/ ingame flags to get decent endings. LOL So now, I'm back to level 1 in year 1 again, but w/ my end game equipment and all my $$$. Not sure when I would sink in the time to replay, considering my stack of unplayed and unfinished games. . .

I've been stuck at a certain point in Wizardry 8 b/c I could not defeat the two Rattin Breeders (big humanoid shaped rats that resembles Homer Simpson w/ the stomach scratching, but hits so hard that 2 hits will kill my warriors). So I had to go back to previous areas and kept grinding my party members' levels until they were finally powerful enough to take those mobs out. After 4 weeks of grinding, mission accomplished tonight.

I've been addicted to fire emblem awakening for 3DS. the main game itself wasn't long but there are side chapters, and too get to them I need to grind the heck out of characters. Also for the old days tradition sake I'm trying to make a perfect party of characters which required dozens of hours of hardcore training. Awakening's system advanced so much compared to fire emblems before, its now super time consuming.
I want to hurry up and get to Soul Hacker already but I want to master one game at a time, that and I always wanted to continue Resonance of Fate for ps3 but couldn't even find the will to start again.

I feel the same way (unable to find the will to restart) w/ Morrowind. after my first play through (just leveling up and never getting anywhere w/ the storyline itself) was halted by my computer hard drive getting fried a decade ago, I started playing the game last May. After 3 months I got to halfway through the main story. On a lark I decided to challenge one of the most powerful NPCs in the game (only a demigod and the final boss were more powerful). The battle took longer than expected, but I actually killed the guy. After that, I lost interest, and migrated to other games. I haven't touched Morrowind since early September. Not sure when I will get back into it, and try to finish the game. But this time around, I remembered to back up my save files. So whenever I'm up for it, I can resume and try to finish the game.
