having seen some figma (like Link) and Bandai merchandise available on Amazon, I started checking some other series that I've been interested in. I won't mention specific names, but I was surprised to find that some figures/other merchandise are selling for less on Amazon (U.S. website) than ebay. The sellers are mainly Japanese, and they state as shipping from Japan. But when I look at the price (w/ shipping), it seems surprisingly reasonable. I will probably order some stuff later this month, and share my experience here.

Hopefully you can get them sent to you, as I've never been able to get things like that sent to me from there. They always say they don't ship outside of the country with these kinds of items...

To be fair, shipping out of US is a pain. International shipping costs a LOT of money, and filling out customs forms is a hassle.

Well, I did cave in a month ago and bought Dean Yeagle's Melange book and a book on Gil Elvgren...both excellent books! *^_^*
