Just wanted to see if you guys have any recommendations for an online retailer for LEGIT, non-bootleg cds?
For example, I would be interested in Infinite Stratos season 1, Aesthetic of a Rogue Hero ED, I Couldn't be a hero. .. None of them are available, even used, on Amazon.
I would consider importing from Japan. I can't order from CDJapan, b/c mastercard had an issue w/ CDJapan's system and my account was briefly suspended a few years back. Mastercard seems to have some restrictions when it comes to japanese sellers. I can't order from mangagamer for example.

I have the same issue w/ Hobbysearch.. they don't like credit card and my credit card has that fail-safe where everything LOCKS-UP, if usual activities is seen.
PayPal... oh boy (that is a mess-in-itself)
I'm slowly.. fazing out from Hobbysearch and shifting into amiami
i would recommend "yesasia"... but, it's the SAME STUFF you get from your local CHINA TOWN

I've ordered from yesasia in the past. They do some distribution. As for my local china town, a lot of those shops you're thinking of closed down the past few years. Many buildings have been renovated into apartment buildings because you can sell those apartments for like a million bucks each; it's a lot better return of investment than keeping the buildings for commercial tenants.

I placed an order w/ CDJapan this week. They re-designed their website, and incorporated paypal checkout. Still had a problem w/ making payment b/c my mailing address (with NY spelled out as "NEW YORK") didn't match what paypal had on file for me. roflmao So I had to go back to CDJ website to change my account info, and that "NY" abbreviation was approved. All the stuff (some CDs plus the latest issue of Megami Deluxe) were in stock, so they should ship my order shortly.

I ordered that Perfume CD the other week without problems. I've never had problems with CDJapan before, and they always have good track on things and they use a points system too.

how did CDJapan order go.. everything ok I'm still waiting for it to arrive. Takes in the neighborhood of 2 weeks, maybe more if there is a customs hold up. |

It took 24 days to arrive via SAL mail, but I finally received my CDJapan order. Everything intact and in pristine condition. They used bubble wraps and then tissue paper inside a bigger box. Very impressive service.  |
