I can see people are interested in this topic...just kidding!  As for me, I just finished Darker Than Black yesterday. That series really had me hooked into the story, and it's really been a while to have an anime do that for me. It really had that extra bite to it to take me in and not let go. I really loved the way it progressed. The end was a bit sad, but it was also a good one, so I was pleased. I'd love to see another one! ^^ Character-wise, the main guy was interesting - my type of hero, really. He had an enigmatic personality, too. Up there with the best characters were Yin and Misaki. I of course liked Yin for her cute look and bland tone, but her growth in the show was absolute. Misaki on the other hand was sweet! I really loved her no-nonsense attitude and the way she exuded feminine charms (read: s e x u a l i t y). It's rare to get a new anime these days as polished as this, but what do you expect from Studio Bones? ^^ Been downloading FMP 1, and will probably get to watch it tonight. Waiting until I get the lot before watching... |

FMP is a great show. I have all 3 seasons in boxset. Fumoffu's got to be my favorite out of them though.
I watched the first episode of Clannad After Story. First episode was lighthearted and a good reintroduction to the characters, but I have no idea where its going (never played the games).
Also watched the first episode of Kannagi, about a boy who accidentally summons a god from a tree carving he created in the form of a girl. Pretty funny first episode, I think I might stick with this one too.

Have fun watching FMP, David. You're going to love it.  New season...new anime! Here's a list of what I'm currently watching: - Tales of the Abyss - Very impressed with this one! The scriptwriters are doing a great job of following the game's original plotline. I'll be seeing this one through to the end. ^^ - Yozakura Quartet - Nice OP/ED, interesting characters. After seeing the first episode, I might just pick up the original manga. - Skip Beat - A safe bet I'll be following the raws for this one. It's shoujo, for crying out loud. ;D - Vampire Knight Guilty - See above.  |

I peeked at ANN reviews on Kannagi, and I'm intrigued enough to try it out. Rosario season 2 I'm really going to enjoy (<----big fan of Rosario to Vampire). Clannad looks stupid to me, for some reason. *shrugs* Also intrigued by ANN impressions of Index, and will catch it, if I have time.

Yeah, they are, David.... To keep up the one-sided conversation here, I recently watched and finished the FMP! anime I downloaded. It was excellent (VERY disjointed at first and I wasn't sure if I'd like it), only to find out that it was FUMOFFU?! So, I first saw the second series rather than the original! Imagine my surprise! Oh well! I'll buy the lot when I get the chance, however... |

I believe they will come out w/ a complete set of all the FMP series, sooner or later. So wait til then. Checked out Casshern Sins ep.1; very dark show, and just in time for Halloween! ^^ |

Make sure you check out FMP: The Second Raid too. It totally one-ups the original series in every way imaginable. ;D

@ Antony: nope. I can get them cheaper at the moment due to Madman doing a boxset sale, so I am going to layby them when I can get them all together.
@ Lauren: yeah. I'm going to get them all (Pokemon anyone?), and TSR is the only one available in said sale at the place here selling them, so I'll have to ask them about getting the rest before the sale ends...
I need to watch Lucky Star period! Hope it comes out over here...
