I was always under the impression that you had already seen Lucky Star, David.  Watched some more new shows last night - - Toradora - Cute, but Taiga is scary. Really, really scary. >_> - Kannagi - Loved this one! Gonna add this to my watch list. (But what is up with all that idol stuff in the OP? ^^;; ) - To aru Majutusu no Index - I'm intrigued by the premise, and the fire fight in episode 2 was pretty awesome. Gonna give this another 2-3 episodes. - Hyakko - Liked it, but I don't know if I liked it enough to keep watching. Gonna see how the second episode plays out and take it from there. - Hakushaku to Yousei - <3~~!! |

Ah...no, I have never seen it. One, it's not available here in OZ, and two, it's a lot of episodes, so you won't be catching me downloading it!  I hope to start watching a couple of DVDs in the next two months or so, as I went on a big layby spree and got five or six boxsets. I'll let you know in the other thread when I get them! ^^ |

Hey, has anybody watched Shikabane Hime Aka yet? Does anyone know if there's a ton of fanservice/gore in it? It looks like a good show, but it does seem like it could be a bit violent. ^^;; No, L-chan, that's SPARDA. Ah, ya got me! Haha...that gave me a good laugh. ;D Also, I second Antony's opinions. Fate/Stay Night is a good one, and Soul Eater is worth it just for the stylistic visuals alone.  |

Thx for the backup, L-chan! I've seen the 1st two eps of Shikabane. Still trying to figure out what to make of it. It's a Gainax production, so there's always a possibility of a hidden meaning somewhere. . . >_> The gist of the show is that there is a group of priests out to destroy undead monsters that attack/kill humans. Each priest is paired w/ an undead girl who does the actual monster hunting. And I did mention Gainax being the animator, right? So that means they're trying to stretch the plot/story, and I'm trying to figure out how Ouri Kagami fits into (or upsets) this shadowy scheme. The show isn't fanservicy. Rather it is gorey. Not explicitly like in Blade of Immortal, but the body count adds up in each episode (so far). Hope this helps! |

Andy, start watching Gurren Lagann NOW! Its actually one of the few Anime series that I kept watching last year. If you like Fate/Stay Night, watch Tsukihime. They are both similar yet different enough in story and characters.
For what I'm watching currently:
Mobile Suit Gundam 00 Season 2 - I gotta say, this new Gundam series is turning quite good. Being that Gundam Seed Destiny sucked, its a nice change. Gundam Seed was pretty good.
Macross Frontier - Stopped on episode 14 and now its done so I can get the complete series and what it all.

I've seen only ep. 1 of Frontier. I managed to get all the eps, but it'll be a while before I get a chance to delve into the show.
re: FSN---I think To Aru Majutsu no Index is somewhat similar, and FSN fans should watch this show.
