Still waiting for my copy of Akira 25th ann. ed. in the mail. Rightstuf waited to ship my order of this release with Accel World blu ray. Finally got the email confirmation this morning. Glad you like the Akira release, Sid. ^^

Watched Outbreak company, up to 7th ep from crunchyslow (8P). When a portal to another world is discovered in japan, what does the gov't decide to do? They import their otaku culture abroad!@#$ On its face, the premise is ridiculous. However, the writer takes a smart, refreshingly original approach, and the result is an enjoyable show with a lot of otaku expressions and creeds thrown in. I think it could be an educational tool to teach someone new to otakuism. >  Definitely an A rated show so far. |

If you order the release off the Funimation shop website with cupon "KANEDA" it took 40% off. It is currently out of stock, but the price came up to $14.95. |

Going back on topic, I finished watching Btooom! A game of death w/ a FPS variation. Interesting show with some nice action. Ppl throw bombs at each other, basically. Main protagonist is a NEET. woot! Enjoyed it, but too short. Grade: B+
Currently watching Valvrave the Liberator. Some nifty action, nice melodrama. seen 1/2 dozen eps so far.

Finished watching Haganai (I don't have many friends) Season 1 on hulu. Absolutely hilarious show with the perfect blend of misfits giving rise to romance and comedy. Excellent character designs. Grade: A
Currently watching/following Kuroko's Basketball, Log Horizon, Outbreak Company, Golden Time

If you're referring to the 20 disc release, I grabbed a copy. I have the Robotech Protoculture DVD Boxed Collection... that was release back in 2005... I would rather have a US release version of Macross Frontier (sadly..that will NEVER happen)  |
