Anyone got their hands on the Limited Edition Queen's Blade: Spiral Choas with the Figma Cute figure(looks like a Jiburiru character)?  I only got the game since the packages seem a little steep in price plus she looks cute and all( but I'd rather get a character I like). If you like turn based strategy games and QB, definitely worth picking up, lol @ the panic button(start + select) for the fanservice like this one after beating Elina:  |

never played queen's blade nor watched the anime cause I thought they are pure fanservices without storyline..I mean, first glance there are just too many female chars and no male char, seems too extreme to me, but then again its made by namcobandai and banpresto so it couldn't be bad either, maybe I should check it out sometime. the LE package sure is fancy tho@@

Yeah, I'd love to get my hands on the figma, but $100 is a bit too much for me seeing as how I try to pay as little for my games as possible.

True, unlike the Super Robot Wars series(no Original Generation ones), it's easy to make sense of the story sometimes since fans usually have watched the featured series, the bad guys usually team up with their existing plans from the series into the game lol.
I've only encoutered one male character aside from the one who travels with torpedo boobs in the game and he's the "original" character like Cute(who was designed by the dude who did the designs for Soul Taker).
This game works as best described from other boards, Super Robot Wars x NamcoXCapcom. Character and game mechanics work like Super Robot Wars(Spells, abilities, movement and engine) while the battle engine is sorta like NamcoXCapcom because before each battle, you get to choose a series of 3 attacks to use that take up AP. Only on scenario 7 because this game isn't exactly like SRW so I'm having trouble with each character's spells/abilities and at time where vital, my characters won't attack because they've been taken so much damage that they're practically naked and a "embarassed" symbol appears over the character(s)...

@najimi: Waht, counted them up and I only have like 4 and most of them are kanu which I like because she looks cool. and also ryofu whos just purely badass and all other ikki chars makes me sick!! lol, its kinda true too.
@syn: did you say..Super Robot Wars x NamcoXCapcom?!?!?!?!? why thats, thats unthinkable, the game I always dreamt of playing NxC+my favor turn base strategy!!
well I better start downloading it now lol

lol that's because 13 is a cool number~ Well I'm on the second last scenario of the game now(31 scenarios) and the game mechanics actually work out very smoothly. Instead of hitting the attacks during battles(NxC), you pre-select specific attacks in certain order which take up AP(Action Points?) and each attack damages specific parts of the enemy. In the end, if you destroy all the enemies' armor, you'll get a "Perfect Knock Down" which is instant defeat. The similarity in battle to NxC is Armor Crush, after breaking a piece of armor, you'll get a bonus attack that will give you a chance to break another piece. One thing about this game that makes me mad is that Irma seems incomplete! All my characters have their Hissatsu/Final Attack + 6 different moves but Irm only has 4 attacks and no Hissatsu and she's the highest level character I have too!!!!! One of my favorite Hissatsu in the game is Ymir's, it's just hilarious because when she pulls out her axe from the ground, she pulls out a boulder 10 times bigger than herself and she freaks out. ah crap I was supposed to download this game but instead I got the chinese version of Y's 7!! oh god how I'm loving this game right now, think I've spent about 8+hours everydays for the past 3 days now, just love everything about it! great battle system, beautiful music, aweomse dungeons, cool story, and super addictive! everything I want in a game, can't..stop..Playing!!
...back to your game, uh, how do you understand japanese? or is there a guide somewhere? and lol what is that last pic about..

It's okay, I've been sidetracked with Phantasy Star Portable(waiting for 2 in English). Honestly, if you've played Super Robot Wars since 1994, objectives and skill sets start to subconsciously seep into your head. Only problem is that I won't understand the story which I heard was lame. In the game, there's 6 animated sequences(depending on who's route you choose, you'll see 3 per game). I suppose all the characters were tired so they're resting at a inn, Irma loves cats(waiting for a megahouse Irma figure d**nit), Cute and Leina are jealous of Cattleya's bust size and the Nanael and Nowa thing was just random(or Nowa says something to explain why she fell over Nanael)...lol. Gamefaqs would be the best place to go, there's alot of SRPG/SRW/QB fans there. |

phantasy star has been on my psp for like a year now and I'm still on ch.1 lol got go back and play sometime..for SRW I started to play on gba since 2001 and I do remember how the system works.
haha that video is so random, and I suspect the story to be on the empty random side as the char design is so full fanbased, may still give it a try tho but don't know when I'll get to it..days just flys by for me right now..
gamefaqs is a very good guide site and I like their boards where other people can help if I'm stuck somewhere but not for many japanese games, y's 7 being one(well its new) and japanese classic like legend of hero series even the board is empty, think I posted a "I was here" topic there a few years back since I was like the only one on that board lol

I'm back playing Persona 4 AGAIN! I can't seem to keep away from it, but I got the desire to play in Japan again, so I took it up and have taken a break for a little bit, but will resume it soon! ^^

ah, I decided to delete my old savefile and just restart on persona4(never beat it think I only went as far as may), figure now is the chance to finish it but also I'm currently still on y's 7..nothing more I can say about this game beside it being totally totally amazing in every single way and the unpredictable storyline which I love so much..too good.

well I got over 300 hours on both ff12 and starocean 3..both my favor games. that's why I'm so looking forward to ff13 but heard its a different battle system and one with many problems..hopefully square-enix didn't go one step forward and five steps back..

Largest amount of hours spent on a game for me would be about 1,000+, but the game never had a counter that saved the previous time spent, so I couldn't be positive....
