well I got over 300 hours on both ff12 and starocean 3..both my favor games. that's why I'm so looking forward to ff13 but heard its a different battle system and one with many problems..hopefully square-enix didn't go one step forward and five steps back.. FFXIII's combat system is kinda like Persona 3, where you control one char and the rest is controlled by AI or some preset tactic. |

I've clocked over 300 hours on P4! ^^ I'm a P4 nut! ^_^ Haha, whoa. That's insane. Not even the Namco Tales games can compare to that number. And those are some of the longest games I know of. |

I have around 200 hours on P4, but I've stopped for now.
The reason? I got P3:FES! ^_^
I'm not that far, but I like it.
I'm also playing Super Robot Taisen OG Saga: Endless Frontier on my DS. I'm not used to the fighting system yet, but so far it's awesome.

@ Lauren: Well, the game adds the playtime from the last time you played, so I've played it a bit, I guess. About ten times? I've lost count.
@ Andy: I had FES naturally, but I only played it three times, I guess - P4 is the game for me since it came out, and I have rarely returned to P3...I just like the overall game of Persona 4 more than 3...

Well, I've stopped playing P4 for a while, due to a serious step backwards in the social calendar - it's really so far out of sequence it's not funny....
So, I've actually gone back to Final Fantasy VIII! Yeah, that old game, but I am having fun beating the snot out of Triple Triad! ;D And the real reason I wanted to play is to see the Rinoa-Squall relationship again. I really missed this one recently - I just had to pick it up again! ^_~

What game would you guys suggest I start on first?
I'm not all too fussed what it is, something with a good story, good to get into, looks good..... kinda thing lol
Added bonus if it works on Mac OS X Snow Leopard, though I can always run it through WINE (Windows emulator) or install it in my Windows Vista virtual machine.

I've not abandoned playing Final Fantasy VIII, but I've now gone forward to IX, as I wanted to play that again too! Yeah, I'm a sucker for the older FF's, but these were good games in the day. While playing this I've realized that they don't make many good RPGs anymore - they seem to either rush them or get way too involved and ruin the overall feel of the games. I hope that I'm mistaken on a few of them when I get the chance to buy them...
Anyway, on to more FFIX! ^_^
