Hey, we're all a little obsessed here. =D How is the quality on the xxxholic box, if you don't mind me asking? Is the box a simple chipboard design or does it have any outstanding features like some of FUNi's other boxes (Tsubasa, Mushi-shi)?

It's just a simple chipboard design. At first I thought it was a little weird, seeing how lately FUNi's other boxes have all had some kinda neat little features. However, after looking at it, I started to like the simplicity of it and for some reason I think it suits the series more. ^^

Yeah, it's kind of surprising FUNi didn't make a fancy box to go along with the series. They could've probably come up with some really neat looking art boxes.

I believe the FUNi occasionally lose their minds when it comes to the boxes. They didn't even make a starter box for Shuffle, and that caused all sorts of rabbling amongst fans.

Did they make one for Witch Blade, cause I didn't look. Doesn't seem that way to me. Doesn't really matter though, the artwork on the cover to each one is classic American Comic artists that did the original Witch Blade by Top Cow. It's beautiful none-the-less.

Finally finalised my lay-by payments and got these:  Have yet to watch either of them. I may have to wait to watch Solid State Society, since it's a follow-up to SAC TV series, which I've never seen... |

A FUNi rep recently started a thread over at Animeondvd.com to see how many people would purchase a vol. 6 plus box "ending set" for shuffle since the big wigs at FUNi apparently caught wind of how disappointed fans were that they currently have no box for their shuffle dvds. I believe that we will see a box with vol. 6 as the response has been huge in that thread. Makes me a happy guy ^^ |
