As I said, I don't want to buy an Xbox. And there's only three interesting ones on it anyway. The PS3 won't have too many for some time either, but at least I can play Japanese PS3 games on it. And Magna Carta 2 is not in PAL territories...
Wild Arms 5 may be good, but I've never seen it around. I liked the original, but have never sought the rest out. I'd really like to see another Suikoden.

I've played wildarms 1-5, all of them are great, but 5 is the best/most epic and it also has all chars from all other wildarms series, and think the company is not going to make anymore in the future as 5 was supposed to be the last one(expect XF on psp).
suikoden, the only one I played was 5, which is pretty good, its got a awesome/unpredictable story, but I didn't like the fact the game is like a movie, basically there was almost no way to game over. and I also have another suikoden on DS, but never got the chance to play it..
crap, now I really wanna learn japanese so I can play all those amazing games thats never released in english, or chinese..

If I could, I'd get a Japanese 360, since most of the good English games region free anyways.
Also, trust me on this, DON'T get Magna Carta 2. It's a disappointment on so many levels. I regret actually BUYING this game. D: It's like they didn't even test play the battle system.
Also, I just finished Luminous Arc 3 and working my way down Tales of Graces. Funny story, I fell asleep after pausing the wii through home menu and didn't resume til the next day. Turns out the clock still ticks and I saved before noticing it. Ended up clocking an extra 25 hours onto gameplay. D:

Lol, the story is about as lame and generic as they get, same goes for characters. The only reason to stick to this would be if you loved the character design and clothes to bear the pain, or were some kind of masochist.
You should get a wii, they're pretty cheap now. And I'm not sure about Tales of Graces, but I'm playing the JP one.

Also, I just finished Luminous Arc 3 Can you post your impressions of it? I picked up LA2 on a whim last year and it quickly became one of my favorite SRPGs on the DS. So I've been switching off between playing LittleBigPlanet and Ratchet and Clank (no VC yet until I finish at least one of those games) and I am so glad I asked for a PS3 for Christmas. lol I love this thing. The online play is fantastic. I really didn't expect the internet connection to be so good considering the trouble I've had with connecting my Wii console in the past.

Anything better than those games to play with, Lauren? I'd like to hear of some massive RPG fun or something else similar! ;D

Nah, nothing new on the RPG front. I'm basically biding my time until Lunar: HoSS comes out for PSP. ;D As for the PS3 internet, it is wireless. I'm wondering if maybe there's some kind of built-in router in it since the connection is better than the one I get on my own PC. lol Haven't played any blus on it yet since I already have a Blu-ray player.

yeah, really don't think there are that many good RPGs out on ps3 here in north american yet, there still on xbox360, but bunch good ones are coming out, starocean4, FFXIII, versus, white knight chronicles..now hopefully the tales of V will get the english release on ps3 as well like they did in japan. actually, I'm looking for a good wireless internet connection, for downloading stuff that browsing, and watch anime...but my laptop is being wired and times out on me from time to time, my SMF connection was down the entire day yesterday @najimi, wii sounds like an idea, but the only RPG I know is tales of symphonia 2..

Except they changed up the AO thing a bit and you get a sort of "free roam" time to talk to people. I'd definitely say it's worth picking up. Lee: but wii's are so cheap now and a quick softmod will give you access to a whole world of games! There's Oboro Muramasa, Fatal Frame, No More Heroes (2 just came out), and of course Tales of Graces just to name a few. There's also those huge hits like Zelda, the Metroid Series, and Mario. Can't forget about Monster Hunter Tri either. I spent nearly 300 hours on that in less than a month. lol IMO, any system that can be modded is always worth it. (They pay for themselves after like 4 games, lol.) It's only a matter of time before the PS3 is hacked.

still remember back in the days I picked up a gamecube just for the tales of symphonia, and thought that alone was worth it, I suppose I'd do the same for a wii lol 95% of the games I play are JRPGs and stuff, tho I did have my blast back in the days with mario and zelda but that was like 10 years ago and for some reason I see playing those games being kinda pointless now..monster hunter I might try it out..the only thing I don't like about the series is the weapon needs to be fixed all the time, even if its the untimate weapon..of course, hacking is always a major plus

Thank you. ^^ The free roam sounds interesting. I don't even know if LA3 has been slated for a NA release yet, so hopefully some info will crop up soon.

Playing Heavy Rain at the moment...quite a suspenseful game for two of my characters and the main character is going through a SAW kinda situation too.
"How far would you go to save someone you love?" OMG who is the Origami Killer??
