Well, I said that I had something different to show off in the realm of purchases, and so here's some stuff I got, along with the Saber figure! But I got these from Mandarake Sawara instead of Complex.... Louise Photobook by Ichijinsha Uno Makoto Artworks UNO! by Shueisha Tony Works Ciel Chronicle by MAX <18+ Link!>Well, it's been three or four years (!) since I last bought an artbook, so this has made me realize I needed to make a thread dealing with anime artbooks! ^^; So, list what you have and be sure to also show off your selections you buy when you do so! And yeah, the Tony one is 18+, but I didn't think of that when I bought it! -_-; Still, he's real good, so this once I'll look over the faults! -_^; I'm going to be getting more, and I'll also show off what else I own later! Enjoy! ;D

Considering Sawara store says the books are in a "C" grade condition, they're in practically near-new condition, really. I'm more than happy with my purchases, and will have more to come in the future. I really want more, especially since I love to draw. I now need more space to put them all! ^_^;
I'll show off the ones I've had for years soon...just need to wait for a while. ^^

And just to warn you, Lee - that Uno book is practically just a Witchblade artbook. There's more than 30 pages of the stuff, and dominates the book. I myself was disappointed, as I don't care that much for that show myself. There was only 4 pages dedicated to Gravion! Not that happy about the selections, but the artwork was very nice! ^^; The Louise photobook was much better. Well, it's supposed to focus on one character, so you get what you pay for this time! ^^ I've yet to crack open the Tony book.....

eh well, I enjoyed witchblade as well, thought it was great! in fact that was the reason I started dragonaut, cause they had the same char design^^ of course, the later is a tiny, just a tiny bit better. watchblade is about mother and daughter instead of a couple but just as intense. and hurry up and flip the page on tony book! you'll ended up fall back on your chair while bleeding nose fountain

4 years??? Sounds like me, I haven't touched a art book in the longest time as well. I sorta have a complex about keeping my manga and art books in mint condition and never wanting to look because I may damage them lol. Figures affect the artbooks I want, thanks to Nitro+, I'm kinda itching to find their stuff which is why when you mentioned Uno's artbook being majority Witchblade, no thanks Good to know about Sawara's grading being more exaggerate than they are. I find the artbooks that feature ecchi(non sexual acts) "tasteful" to be honest which makes Tony Taka okay in my books(though I know his stuff do feature some "sexy" poses)~ Gotta go find some more Mine Yoshizaki artbooks and anything RGB stuff. Both offer beautiful art of characters and mecha! Does SIC Hero Saga book count? Features an exclusive story plus data on current line-up of the toys and exclusive galleries of the "not for sale" figures~

And Lee, I knew you'd like the thought of so much Wtchblade stuff....-_-; uh...I didn't care for the giant chest part, its the emotional story and that played out is the thing I like, of course the after all they've been thru the ending is just had that much more impact. inspired to share, this is most of my collection minus the few I can't find and the ones came with games.

Quite the big collection there, Lee! I like that many are still wrapped up! You haven't even checked them out yet? ;D
And I noticed that many are either guidebooks (not artbooks) or manga-like books. I'm really after people's true artbook collections, but I'll let it go this once! ^---^

That one holds a special place in my collection, and I am glad to have it. ^^ Hoping to get more as the year goes on! Enjoy! ;D

thanks well yeah, I'm a collector so my collecting instinct comes thru first I guess so it holds me back from opening the mint unopened packages, heh, too bad I don't even get to enjoy them and know what they are lol eh, well all of them I thought would be qualified as artbooks, but I guess some are design concepts mixed, still, most of them are still pure pictures and I brought them listed in the artbook category. well well, you got quite the nifty collection yourself hehe, and well, many of them I don't know anything about...must be thru out Some years lol the goto-P one looks interesting, heard the cover was from a really something visual novel.

Also - what daki is that in the background? (I'm assuming it's a daki?)
