Oh, thank you for saying that. So I'm not the only one? (For different reasons of course: Reading online bugs the heck out of me. Trying to read small manga text on a glaring computer monitor just increases my sensory problems and I feel totally whacked out when I finish. lol) Nope, you're not the only one. My eyes go crazy after trying to read the small manga type on a computer screen. I usually get a headache that makes me want to scream and bash my head against a bed post as well. And then we could go into the fact that a lot of really great small-time publishers are starting to close up shop (CMX, Go! Comi) and other companies are laying off employees (Viz). It's disheartening. Go! Comi was publishing Shibariya Komachi which I really wanted to start reading, and CMX was licensing all those old classic shoujo titles. I would've absolutely died if a company finally licensed the Glass Mask manga. Yes, it's very sad to hear about these smaller publishing companies going under. CMX was very sad to hear about (and bad if you consider they had the financial backing of DC comics behind them). However, CMX played a part in their own demise with one mistake, Tenjho Tenge. Far too much editing and censoring to try to market the title to an audience it wasn't intended for in the first place (not here at least). That mistake drove away a lot of the older manga fans with more disposable income to spend on manga. I believe that played at least a small part in their overall demise. It doesn't help that companies like Tokyo Pop and ADV drops titles like there's no tomorrow...that or obtain so many license that they can't fit the work load into translating them. For real. I wanted to scream when I finally noticed that TokyoPop put Tsukuyomi : Moon Phase on what they called "Indefinite delay" (read "Dropped like a hot potato!"). Del-Ray is also starting to worry me. I've been waiting forever for them to bring out Princess Resurrection Vol. 8, and nothing. Not even any news about it. Maybe they should have an app that works with the accelerometer and lay the laptop on it's side to read them lol~ I'd love to see that just so people would start holding their laptops sideway. The stares from bystanders would be hilarious XD

I'm still boycotting CMX over the TenTen debacle. It felt good sending volume one manga back to the publisher. >

CMX sealed their own fate pretty early with that whole debacle. It's one of the rare times that I'll say a publisher deserves having their manga sent back to them.
I got the last 4 volumes of Venus Versus Virus off of amazon the other day. The single volumes are no longer in print, as far as I know, and I didn't want to own the first half of the series only.

Started over reading Karin, or as it's known here, Chibi Vampire (don't know why it had to be renamed to something so dumb sounding but oh well, at least it was brought over). I had read up to vol. 10, but that was right when my long busy time hit and I had to take a break from reading anything for a while, so I'm just starting over from the beginning. I really like this series though, so I'm just fine going through it all over again. Karin's so funny and cute ^_^

Haven't read anything recently except that Yuji Shiozaki has a new series he's working on called GODEATH ~Megami no Ketsumyaku~ The art style really resembles OH!GREAT's style since the first page I saw was naked girl with a sword chopping someone in half. The thing about that page was how it was drawn out, I recognize Yuji's stuff as very fan service where he'll draw things detailed only to have the naughty parts covered up whereas OH!GREAT is very open with nudity and will draw nudity with very little detail. Facial features resembles his touch but most of the pages inside just shout OH!GREAT!(must be because it's only balck and white).

Well, OH!GREAT is primarily a hentai artist, so you get what you get with that kind of artist. Those of you who know Makoto Uno would be surprised at what that person draws for hentai! ^___________^

Bought myself the rest of Cheeky Angel up to vol. 20 so now I'll have the entire series. Also picked up Ghost Hunt vol. 9 which I'm dying to read.

I'd prefer to keep the title to myself, as it's not something I should share - quite the opposite actually. I realise I should have kept quiet about it! A bit embarrassing, actually! Sorry! -_______________-;
