If my calculation is correct, and there's a 14 hours time zone difference w/ NYC's EST, that would be 2 am, or 2 1/2 hours away. Good luck getting your pre-order in!!!

I ordered a pre-owned Blue Tears from them last month, and I don't know if the Strike Gunner is considered the equivalent to the previous release. So there's a chance that I won't be permitted to order the Strike Gunner from them. We'll see. :/

re: using credit card w/ CDJ. When I placed my order, I tried using my Mastercard and it got declined under their Mastercard Secure Code program. So I tried to activate the card through their link at www.cdjapan.co.jp/guide/help/payment/verified_by_visa_and_mastercard_secure_codeMC sent an automated telephone call to smartphone (which is my contact number listed with my account), and my order was verified over the phone. So I'm confident that my CDJ pre-order WILL get processed now. |

The expected release date for this figure is the end of JULY. So that's why I declined to use paypal checkout, because you have to make payment IMMEDIATELY for the pre-order. If my order gets canceled because CDJ doesn't get enough stock (quite possible obviously) then I don't want to deal w/ either a refund or store credit and be forced to buy something then. that's why I tried using my credit card instead.

It was tough staying up til 3 am to pre-order from amiami. Good thing my Dragon Ball Z Season 3 blu ray just arrived yesterday, and I was able to watch the first disc while waiting for pre-order to open. I'm a big fan of Infinite Stratos series, and I'm trying to get all the AGPs for this show. Otherwise I wouldn't bother staying up so late. :/ |

I saw an ebay seller located in Hong Kong listing this pre-order for $113 (or something like that) w/ free shipping. However, w/ an end-of-July release date you're not getting ebay buyer protection for this purchase b/c the protection is only good for 45 days. You COULD do a chargeback if the seller doesn't ship, but still it's messy.

Totally agree. I got a confirmation from CDJapan that my credit card went through. and my pre-order with amiami has not been cancelled yet. So depending on the distribution allotment to these retailers, I do expect to get two figures, unless amiami decides to set it to "For Sale in Japan only" for this item. We'll see. |
